She loves solids!!

Ashley has been trying out the rice cereals lately. She loves it! She's also tried my sweet potatoes and some applesauce from Grandma's house - of course the big girls love that too - Grandma, can we have some more?

Father's Day Picinic

A picinic on Sunday afternoon with Dad :-)

Happy Father's Day!

Yeah! We love our Dad! He is fun to play with, he tickles, laughs and makes great pancakes. He is number one in our book!

We of course love our Grandpa's too who have created the foundation for our lives and helped us to be the people we are today. Thank you for the amazing things you have done for us, your example, your support and your simple smile of encouragment! We love you!

Sound to Narrows 12K

My goal for the Sound to Narrows 12K this year was to do it in under 1 hr. That means I had to average an 8 minute mile the whole time. This is a challenge on flat road, but adding the hills added a whole new level. I tried my best to train, but I was pretty nervous come race day. The weather was ideal and the company was great. I was doing okay until the final hill. I thought that there was no way I'd reach my goal as I was crawling up the last hill. But, as I reached the grass and saw the finishing clock, I knew I made it. 59:33 was my final time. I was elated!! Ben was there with the girls which was the icing on the cake - it was a great day!

Salt Water Park - Beach Day

We had a field trip up to Salt Water Park in Kent for Natalie's preschool. They had been learning about ocean life so they were well prepared for this special low tide day at the park. Before leaving home Natalie talked about looking for purple crabs since that is her favorite color. Feeling almost positive that we wouldn't find purple crabs, I told her I'd help her look :-) Well, we didn't find purple crabs, but we did find purple sea stars!! Go figure! I was almost just as excited to find those as Natalie! We saw a baby octobus, a moon snail, sun star, several crabs, and many other things that morning.

Bike Hike

I just wanted to post a few pix of our fun adveture on my Dad's birthday.

Cousin Time

We loved having Samuel and Eli stay in Puyallup with us last week. Tera and I had fun running, swimming and playing basketball together (thanks Ben for watching the kids!!) we also got some projects and cleaning done.

Okay, so these are kind of random, but this is a little about us for now. Enjoy!

New Camera

I love getting new things, but it is aways a challenge figuring them out. I'm hoping that I can figure it out before our trips this summer. I'm still working on getting the pictures on to my computer... If only all new items came with a person telling you all the ins and outs and walking you through everything :-)

This is fun!

I'm excited to join the world of blogging. I have several friends who have cute postings and I want to add to it! I don't know how good I'll be at updating, but we'll see...
We're blogging!
We're testing this out...
